Sarajevo Transit is a comprehensive urban mobility solution designed to transform how residents and visitors navigate Bosnia's vibrant capital city. This UX/UI case study explores the development of an intuitive mobile application that addresses the real transportation challenges faced by Sarajevo's commuters.
The Challenge π
Navigating Sarajevo's diverse public transportation system can be challenging:
- Scattered information across multiple sources
- Unpredictable service changes due to frequent roadworks
- Confusing ticketing systems for tourists and occasional users
- Limited real-time updates on vehicle locations and delays
My Role β¨
- User Research & Problem Definition β Conducted in-depth interviews with daily commuters, tourists, and transportation officials to identify key pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Wireframing & User Flow Design β Created intuitive navigation paths ensuring users can quickly access critical information with minimal taps
- UI Design & Visual Identity β Developed a clean, accessible interface with thoughtful color coding for different transportation modes and routes
- Prototyping & Interaction Design β Built high-fidelity interactive prototypes demonstrating core functionalities
